Turning 1! | Hendersonville, NC Baby Photographer

So excited to get to share this adorable little boy with you today! 

 I wanted his parents to see these first in person before I shared them with world.

Now that they have seen them, it's your turn.

This is the second time I was lucky enough to get to photograph him.

 Hard to believe that he is already celebrating his 1st birthday!

As you can see, he is SUPER excited about his birthday.  Ha

His dad said that this next shot looked like a mug shot.  HaHa 

Again with the huge amounts of enthusiasm for his upcoming birthday.

I LOVE all of the facial expressions that he shared with me!

Awww.... here we go.  Some excitement!

 And then he gave me some sweetness.

He has the most beautiful, sparkly eyes.

 I threw this little collage together just to show all the different expressions that he gave me that day.

I love the one where he is holding the wooden O.  Like "Come on lady.  Are we finished here yet?" 

Happy Birthday my little friend!

Do me a favor and stop growing so fast.

I met sooooo many beautiful & amazing babies, children, tweens and teens in 2013!  I am so grateful for the time that I was able to spend with each and every one of them.  This is a long post, but I hope you have a few minutes to enjoy meeting each of these gorgeous children.

 

 

 

 

I hope that I will be lucky enough to see many of these children again this year,

and am excited to meet many more throughout 2014.

Are you ready for some cute this morning?

 

Yesterday morning Myles & I had a little fun together capturing a whole lot of cute!!!

 He has many looks.  He can really pull off that serious look.

And he is even better at big smiles & laughter!

 I must confess I paid a price for that laughter though.

I was pretending to bang my head on something and he would crack up laughing every time!

The headache that I walked away from our time together with was well worth it.

 I don't remember what I said to get this laugh.  Whatever it was, it worked.

With kids I will do, say, or act in whatever way they think is funny.

Sometimes it's being loud.  Sometimes it's telling little jokes.  Sometimes it's banging my head on something.  With boys, they think gross things are hilarious.  So sometimes it's gross things!

Whatever it takes!

 Like I said... whatever it takes for them to loosen up and have some fun!

I just keep snappin that shutter.

Those Eyes! | Hendersonville Photographer

 OK, so let's talk about baby Melloy why don't we!

 I mean, what's not to love.

He was so sweet during our time together.

 Normally I shoot infant shots within a week of their birth for best results.

But when I talked to his mom last week she told me he was already 5 weeks old. 

I wasn't sure exactly how the session would unfold with a

5 week old baby as opposed to a 5 day old baby.

 As you can see, everything unfolded perfectly!

 And would you look at those eyes.  I could stare into them all day long.
