4 boys & a baby | Galena Maternity Photographer

What an exciting time for this beautiful family.  They are expecting baby number five in the next week or so!  They already have four rowdy boys running around their house.  Baby number 5 is still a mystery!

Kelley contacted me about maternity pictures a couple of months ago.  She saw some other maternity photos that I had shot and decided that she wanted to capture these last few days of her final pregnancy too.  I'm so glad she did!

She looks absolutely gorgeous!  Especially for being just a couple of weeks from delivering.

These are another type of photo that I am jealous of.  I so wish I would have had maternity photos taken.  But of course I never did.  So many things that I capture for other people that I wish I had for myself.

And who wouldn't love to have these beautiful moments as husband and wife captured?

Thank you Kelley for asking me to shoot these images for you.  I really enjoyed our time together!

Congratulations on your new son or daughter!

Can't wait to hear whether it's a little boy or little girl.  :o)

Tiffany | Sunbury Maternity Photographer

These are some of my most favorite portraits I have ever taken.

Tiffany and I met almost two years ago when my daughter Peyton was born. We immediately connected because she has two little boys and I have three boys. I have found that mother's of boys usually connect immediately. We have shared many stories of the orneriness that goes on in each of our homes. She is now pregnant with her third little bundle of ornery!

I have been trying for months to talk her into maternity photos. She kept refusing. I was disappointed, but I respected her decision and let it go. Even though, secretly I kept hoping she might change her mind. :o)

Well, guess what? About two weeks ago I received an email that Tiffany's hubby, Ron, had encouraged her to think about having maternity photos taken. We chatted back and forth via email about what type of photos she might like, and then scheduled a time to get together this past weekend.

Thanks Ron for talking her into it!

Again I have to thank Ron. This next photo was all his idea. He wanted the large tree to fill the frame representing a Family Tree. Great idea, don't you think?

Another family shot. Love this photo too. We couldn't have asked for a more beautitul evening. Look at those gorgeous sunbeams streaming into the corner of the photo.

Doesn't she look great for nine months pregnant?

And so happy too!

I'll be back in a couple of weeks with the newborn portraits from this beautiful family.

Can't wait to meet the new little man in your life Tiff!

P.S. Did you know that you could click on any photo to see a larger, clearer version of it?

Go ahead, give it a try!

Family of 3 | Zanesville Family Photographer

I thought I would start this new week out with new life!

This is Scott, Dani and Ryan enjoying their time together as a family of three only days before they will become a family of FIVE.

Yep you heard me right. Dani is having twins!

Dani contacted me a while ago about maternity photos. We scheduled a time to get together a month and half ago or so. But then the day we were scheduled she ended up in the hospital and on bedrest. I was very disappointed that we weren't going to be able to shoot this photos for her.

Fast forward to this past week. I receive an email from Dani that she is no longer on bedrest and is being induced on Monday to have the babies. Could I still make it down for the photo session? Of course I said yes and excitedly made my way to Zanesville, OH to finally have the opportunity to capture this pregnancy for her.

First we spent a little time capturing her gorgeous little man, Ryan!

Isn't he adorable? And so sweet!

I had to take Cooper, my 4 year old, along with me for the session, and they got along wonderfully. They really enjoyed exploring these beautiful gardens together.

Now for some baby. I mean babies!

This girl is amazing! She is nine months pregnant with twins and when I called her yesterday morning to check on directions to our photo session location, she was out shopping. Are you kidding me? When I was that pregnant with ONE baby I was definitely not out shopping two days before he was born. And I was absolutely in no shape to be having my photo taken.

Look at her! Doesn't she look great?

We had to hike up and down the side of a hill to get to these gardens.
She didn't even think twice. Down the hill she went!

How sweet is this? Ryan snuggling with his two baby sisters. We tried to get him to give them a little kiss. But he would have nothing to do with kissing them!

He did however love what I ask him to do in this next shot!

Good luck tomorrow Dani! I can't wait to see you again and meet your beautfiul little girls. Just so you know, it might take me a really long time to photograph them! I always take newborn photo sessions as an opportunity to get my baby fix!

I'm so honored to have been able to capture one of your last evenings together as a family of three. I hope these photos will always help you to remember this time with just Ryan.
