An Evening At The Lake | Lewis Center Photographer

Any of you that live in the central Ohio area know how gorgeous it was on Friday. It just about killed me to have to sit inside at work all day and I knew there was no way that I was going to come home and sit in the house all evening. We decided it would be the perfect evening to head out to the lake. So I packed up the van with 3 kids and some sand toys, and headed out to Alum Creek State Park.

Unfortunately we were minus one daddy and one big brother for our little evening out. Drew wanted to go to the football game on Friday night, so Dennis volunteered to be his chauffeur so I could take the other munchkins swimming. He's such a good daddy! And Brodey is an awesome big brother! Peyton kept asking him to take her out into the water. "Pease Bro" she would say. So cute.

Coop loved the water. All of my kids are water lovers!

Playing in the sand was a lot of fun too!

Some of us tried to snack on the sand too.

Then we finished the evening playing on the playground while we waited on our pizzas.

A great evening! 10 more days until school starts.

One more weekend to enjoy our 2010 summer!
